Meet Dr. Podstreleny

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Dr Podstreleny received his degree in Human Biology and Pharmacy from the University of Toronto in 1990.  He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 1995 and then moved to Washington DC for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Washington Hospital Center.   While completing the four year residency, he was exposed to full scope Oral Surgery with an emphasis on Trauma, Reconstruction and Pathology.  After graduation in 1999, he moved to Atlanta Georgia and practiced there in a group practice for six years until coming to San Diego.  He opened Pomerado Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in February 2005 and then Park Boulevard Oral Surgery in May 2009.

Dr. Podstreleny is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.  He is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the San Diego County Dental Society.

Dr.  Podstreleny enjoys practicing the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with particular interest in Dentoalveolar Surgery, Dental Implants, Pre-prosthetic surgery, and Corrective jaw surgery.  In his free time, he spends time with his wife Dr Holly Hatt and their four children Kaelin, Michael, Katy and Karoline.  His personal interests include taekwondo, aviation, golf, guitar, and traveling.
